Oh, that I have earlobes,
things so mushy and pointless
that I don't have to worry about them
breaking or snapping or anything--
thank you.
Oh, that I can rub the earlobes of others
between my thumb and forefinger
and squeeze and say this paean
to them as they smile at me--
