I went to a taxidermist's shop
because my grandmother wanted her cat to be
stuffed and made into a statue
and I was waiting and I noticed a stuffed egret
hanging above the door of the shop
and the taxidermist who finally took my order
and was sitting at the cash register with my grandmother's cat
made bird noises while was I looking at the stuffed egret
and smiled at me when I turned to catch him
doing this
and that was when I decided to leave.
